Anyone on the list have any suggestions on where I can obtain some vaudeville comedy scripts? Something that won't break the bank?

depending on where you are, your library may have some collections. They aren't easy to find, at least the older ones.

Other ideas: used bookstores, universites...actually, the U.of S. Florida has a circus arts program, and a library, if I'm not mistaken. They may photocopy some routines for you, or just give you a bibliography.

    hope that helps.

The Library of Congress is very useful for researching old published scripts and it's free. But these are usually scanned and documented records of original scripts. The quality isn't always the best. I've always had good luck there though. @;-)
