I had a lot of fun writing this blog post and thought some folks here might also find interesting the metaphors between "clown" & "web 2.0" --

Re: Clown & Web 2.0
Sat, October 13, 2007 - 12:17 AMSo I read your blog and it inspired me.
I wondered, to myself,
"hey, will he construct a Clown 2.0?"
Not really a new clown but a social networking version of clown.
Not that niether the web1.0 nor the clown 1.0 could be accused of non-social networking.
Anyway i thought I would construct a routine with new props, A video mixer with ample source material, a projector or 3, maybe.
So like the New york(?) Clown who 'goes into the audience and barrages 20 questions"
Say you ask questions that are kinda stilted toward answers that are emodied within the video source material.
So, say you ask him, "What color do you like?
She says "green" immediately the projectors blast green imagery upon the screens
you ask what emotion she hates, the projectors project images of that emotion, merged with the green content,
Anyway this is just the propage and the stuff to interact with.
Then I thought how would I represent the internet?
And I thought, maybe 5. 6. 7 PVC pipes. Or carpet tubes, or smaller cardboard tubes.
Get the audience to communicate thru the tubes.
This would represent the internet. I guess.
Sorry, I have a couple acts to complete, so naturally, I am happy to forget my problems and "help" someone
else who didnt need my help in the first place.
